Age Calculator Between Two Dates — Exact Age Difference in Years, Months & Days

Enter any two dates to see the exact difference in years, months and days — plus the total number of days and weeks between them.

How to Use This Calculator

  1. Pick a start date and an end date in the date fields.
  2. Click Calculate difference.
  3. Read your result as years, months and days, plus the total days between the dates.

Try this: start 06/15/1990 and end 11/02/2026 gives 36 years, 4 months, 18 days (13,289 days total).

If a date is missing, you will see a message asking you to choose both dates before a result appears.

How we count the days: a full year runs from a date to the same calendar date the following year (for example, June 15, 1990 to June 15, 1991 is exactly one year). If the end date’s day falls earlier in the month than the start date’s day, days are borrowed from the preceding calendar month. For a February 29 start date, the yearly anniversary in a non-leap year is counted on March 1. “Total days” is the number of whole days between the two dates, with the start date counted as day zero. Frequently Asked Questions

How is the age in years, months and days calculated?

We count whole years first, then whole months, then the remaining days, borrowing days from the previous calendar month when needed — the same method most online age calculators use.

How does the calculator handle February 29 (leap day)?

If the start date is February 29, the yearly anniversary in a non-leap year is counted on March 1, and the day count adjusts accordingly.
